Phew. I don’t know about you, but I was getting so tired of campaigns. I was ready to vote and have it over with a few months ago. 
Even though my guy didn’t win, I’m amazed and excited about seeing history happen with our first African American president! (my Ethiopian daughter was so excited this morning) Way to go Obama!
Welcome, President Obama. I want you to know that I will pray for you and your family as you make the transition into the White House, and into the position this country chose you for. And I will continue to pray for you for the duration of your term(s) in office.

P.S.!!! Oh, I have to tell you this. In my discussion with my children this morning, I mentioned maybe someday we’d have a woman president. So they want me to run for office next time. Hahahahahahahaha…. on what platform? Dirty diapers? I politely declined, but they were just so sweet, thinking their mommy could be president.
