This weekend was a big deal in the town my husband grew up in. They have a big fall festival that coincides 
with the homecoming of a nearby college. This means parades, vendors, and fun events galore.
This year my children were in the parade to help campaign for my mother-in-law’s hopeful-boss-to-be. They spent part of the parade walking with Lynn Swann. (NFL hall of famer)
Lynn Swann taught my kids how to bump fists with someone! I wish I had a picture of it. I missed the whole thing (but hey, I was a Buffalo Bills fan growing up. My husband, the life-long Steelers fan was very impressed)
Now my kids are too cool for words.
