And now my son is starting to laugh at me too.

Why? Why would these guys laugh at me?

Because I say the dumbest things sometimes (I wish speech had an edit button).

Here are 3 of the latest… (so you can laugh too)

*It was like light and day! (yeah, yeah… night/light, what’s the difference?)

*I know I am, but what are you? (so maybe the insult fit and I just decided to agree… or not)

and my personal favorite (I was talking about our dog)….

*Wow, she’s not the sharpest bulb in the drawer! (and apparently neither am I)

I realize AFTER I say these things that they are wrong, and that has to count for something, right?

Right?

Hey now, RIGHT?

Don’t you walk away shaking your head like that…

    P.S. You’re in good company.

  2. Funny! Thanks for sharing, even if it does mean that yes, we’re laughing at you.

  3. I was literally LOL!!

  4. My husband and I are laughing at you!!!

Honestly, Heidi, I do the same thing. It’s the fibro-fog…right?

    Love you, M’am!

  5. Jeff, did you know you snort when you laugh? :)

Jim, yep… but I’m learning how to laugh at myself, which is good!

Aaron, I’m glad I could bring some joy to your life. Hey, you are always telling the funny stories, so I figured I’d give it a shot. I’m like one of the callers to Pizza Hut.

Michelle, it must be. I’ve always had a touch of foot-in-mouth disease, but boy is it foggy lately! The fatigue makes it hard to focus my thoughts. Hey, at least I’m good for a laugh once in awhile, right! :D

  6. Sometimes you just have to laugh. Don’t worry you are in good company.

  7. Bet that is what makes you such fun to be around!

  8. That is true, Mike. Laughter is good, especially when we can laugh at ourselves.

Melody, I sure hope so. :)

  9. okay..the first time I read it, i saw nothing wrong with how you said it..yep you are in my company..i always seem to say things mixed up..and always the guys get alot of mileage out of it.

My families personal favorite was “pellatone fole” hey I was excited about almost hitting the telephone pole..ahhhh another laugh…bet everyone else calls them utility poles… thanks for loving me!

  10. I’m so glad it isn’t just me, Darla. :) We call them telephone poles here too.
