UPDATE: Apparently this was all a fraud. Please see my new post about it HERE.
Second UPDATE: The video’s have been pulled by Hillsong, so they are no longer available to view.
This song is amazing. The first video is the song being performed, and you’ll notice the oxygen the artist is wearing as he sings. The second video tells the story behind the song. The words are at the end of the post.
Hillsong This Is Our God

You hold my every moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
And heal all my disease

I believe You are all I need
I believe You’re my Portion
I believe You’re more than enough for me
Jesus You’re all I need

Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
Nothing is impossible for You
You hold my world in Your hands

There are moments when we become so comfortable with what GOD is doing around us and forget to go back to our first love as HE performs all these wonders, but until we wash our faces again with a fresh touch of the HOLY SPIRIT then we see just how great GOD has been to us.
Seeing Mike speak really touched my heart to go back to my first love “GOD”. I hope you do to and if you dont know Him yet I pray the songs transforms your inner being to accept the one true GOD.. through His son Jesus Christ.

I thank God for you. Thank you for your faithfulness. You have thought and will continue to teach; how to stand firm, to believe in the midst of trouble and pain. I pray God will continue to use you in a greater way. Thank you for carrying your cross. I pray that all of us who heard this song and the story behind it will never be the same. In Jesus name.

We have been singing this at our church for a couple weeks now. The first time I heard it, I was just captivated by the words! I coud FEEL this anointing… it was just indescribably amazing. A friend sent me this link today. Now, hearing Mike’s story … it so makes sense… all that I was feeling was in this song when God birthed it into him that day!! God, You are so beyond!!!

Andrew, I do know him, thank you.
Stephan, that is the best place to be.
Lori, I’m so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, and I pray you are healed from this. I’m so thankful that we do know the One who can take care of it all.
Rene, Amen!
Adanech, Mike sure does have an amazing witness!
Fleecy, Yes, me too! Amen!
Kimberly, I hadn’t heard it before, and it floored me the first time it did. And the story behind it just makes it even more amazing. Wow.

Oops. Shame Mike Guglielmucci turned out to be a fake!
He was pretending all along…
Comment by Alan Partridge — August 20, 2008 @ 9:07 am
seriously? has that been confirmed and what source do you have to back that up?
Comment by HW — August 20, 2008 @ 10:06 am
I regret it’s true. Hillsong leaders have been notified today & the 2008 album withdrawn.
Its very, very sad. It must have taken some doing.
They all need much prayer & wisdom now.
Sorry.

how could one fake his wife, his parents and his pastors for 2 years? Surely pentecostals are meant to be discerning. Surely there must be more to this!!

Very very sad and frusterating…but God can and still uses the sin of His people…we will sing that He is the healer no matter what!!

Mike was wrong to let this go to far, but i know that the spirit of pornography is very powerful.
It is very hard to control, even as an adult.
He has been controlled by this demon since he was 12 years old.
Unfortunately, the AOG churches don’t have much to do with deliverance, if they did, they may well have recognized the symptoms when he was a child.
I was hooked on pornography when I was young also, the only break I had, was when I got baptized and broke the devils power over me.
I didn’t believe in demons then, and only heard about them after a few years of being a Christian, that is, that they can affect Christians!
When I came back from China, I thought that I would see if they were real, so I took one peek at a Playboy site.
That was all the devil wanted, I showed my weakness, then for the next 4-5 years I had to actively fight this addiction.
It is a very, very powerful spirit, I’m sure that Mike wanted to free from it.
It fills you with shame after you have satisfied your lust of the eyes, and you say to yourself that you will never do it again….. until you sit down in front of the computer again.
Then it’s.. just a quick look, just one, I’ll be strong and not look for long, ha, the devils got you by the throat and you do just what he wants you to do.
Mike longed to be free from this, I know, because I have been there and even now, I know that the demon waits to see if I will show any weakness in this area.
By the Grace of God, I have overcome this sickness, because it is a sickness, and it makes you very secretive, no-one knew what I was doing, and I even felt that I was being unfaithful to my wife, which I was!
If only Mike had some-one that would have shown him how do deliverance on himself, because as Christians, we have that power.
We don’t have to storm the enemy’s gates, we only have to stand and defend what we already have.
If one good thing comes out of this, let it be that more churches are willing to wage spiritual warefare against the enemy and not let him come and affect our children as the last generation has.
If no-one else will help Mike, then I would be glad to, I love to punch the devil in the face, I hate him with a vengeance.
I would like to show Mike how to get free of this sickness, I know how to kick these demons out, and if the leaders in his church would believe there’s an enemy that we must fight, then they would be able to set this captive free also.
I don’t blame Mike, I blame the weak leadership, wishy washy and not willing to be contraversial.
They may have started well, but have now become very wide, but not very deep!
Hey, wake up you leaders, Christians can have demons too!
Help your sheep, why won’t you get hungry for the supernatural power of God and just concentrate on your good works!
The power of God is moving in some Churches, people are getting deliverance and healing weekly.
This is where I want to worship God, somewhere where I can experience the presence and power of God.
And the Church that I attend, is doing just that, the pastors are even more hungry for God than I am, I love that!
They are not people pleasers, but God pleasers, and we regularly pray and prophesy over each other at the end of the service, not just one or two, but everbody must pray and prophesy, I love that!
I used to go to Hillsong, and they are a great worship Church, but not very deep, spiritually, generally speaking.
There are a lot of good people there, even my wife still goes there, and my kids love the kids church.
But I wanted more, so now I go to Dayspring.
Before, I thought that I was pretty spiritual, but now feel that I have much to learn, thank God I have found a place to grow, I had just about given up hope.
Hope mike gets the help he needs, if he came to Dayspring, he sure would!

I guess let’s not let what had happened affect us. Everyone are sinners, we are not perfect. Why not just look into the song, believe in it. Trust that God is our healer in every aspect. I guess Mike has a reason for his wrong-doings. Instead of ‘blacklisting’ him, why not all of us just pray? This song is a very powerful song. Always remember that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
(:

its sad indeed, but i believe the fact that he was lying and that his testimony was fraudulent, still doesnt take away the fact that the song has an anointing on it. regardless of the background or the story surrounding the song, i believe if people know WHO they’re singing about in the song, and put their focus on the One that deserves it, the anointing of this song will flow and continue to flow into people’s lives.

2 Timothy 4:2-5
Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

God requires down to earth and open minded people like my bro Mike. We have aswell been fighting this demon of porn and masturbation but it still taunts us. Healer-is a song that gives me hope in the lord’s healing power some day.
